Sandhya S. Douglas, CFA

Senior Managing Director, Partner, and Chief Operating Officer, Investments
Wellington Management Company

Sandhya leads a global team at the intersection of all the investment functions, which acts as a strategic engine powering a strong, dynamic, global, and scalable investment platform. The group builds shared centers of excellence across corporate access, research services, early career investor development, knowledge management, strategic initiatives, and business management for all investors. It also drives integration and ensures Wellington’s investment platform is flexible and adaptable to changing client needs and market conditions. In addition, Sandhya serves on a number of committees and oversight groups, including the Research Services Council, Fund Approval and Closure Committee and the Error Resolution Council, and is the chair of the Wellington Management Foundation Advisory Board.

Prior to this role, Sandhya was associate director of Global Multi-Asset Strategies, and prior to that, she led the Client Integration Group. Before joining Wellington Management in 2006, she was a senior vice president at Brown Brothers Harriman & Co, (1994 – 1998; 2000 – 2006) and spent two years at SunTrust Capital Markets (1998 – 2000).

Sandhya earned her dual BA degrees in economics and theatre, magna cum laude, from Middlebury College (1993). Additionally, she holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society Boston.

Mable Chan is the Host and Executive Producer of "One in a Billion" - a podcast about China through the voices of Chinese millennials in America, China Personified, a global network community and a digital storytelling platform with video, blog is a part of "One in a Billion Productions, Inc" a non-profit educational media organization (501 c 3).
 
A Hong Kong born, bilingual producer with more than 20 years of experience with Hong Kong television (HK-TVB) and American networks - ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, Mable is an award-winning journalist, with top honors including the Edward R. Murrow, the DuPont-Columbia, and the George F. Peabody.

Christina Qi

Christina Qi serves as Co-Founder and Partner at Domeyard LP, a hedge fund known for its focus on high frequency trading. Domeyard closed its Series C in 2017 and trades up to $1 billion USD per day. Her company’s story has been featured on the front page of Forbes, Nikkei, and other publications. Christina brings experience in investment management, sales and trading, derivatives operations, and technology across Goldman Sachs, UBS Securities, Zions Bank, and MIT Lincoln Labs. Christina is a visiting lecturer at MIT, within Nobel Laureate Robert Merton’s “Retirement Finance” class since 2014 and is a case study protagonist at Harvard Business School. Christina serves on the Board of the MIT Sloan Boston Alumni Association (SBAA), the 100 Women in Finance (100WF) U.S. Non-Profit Boards Committee, and the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) Scholarship Committee. Christina and her co-founders have been named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 and Boston Business Journal 40 Under 40 lists. Christina is the Women’s Wealth Forum 2018 Founder of the Year. Christina holds an S.B. in Management Science from MIT and is a CAIA Charterholder.

Michael Tow

Actor, Director and Producer
Michael Tow is a professional Actor, Director and Producer. He has appeared in Hollywood films like Unfinished Business opposite Dave Franco and Universal's RIPD with Ryan Reynolds & Jeff Bridges. On TV you might have seen him in Netflix's Masters of None, MacGyver, Daredevil and USA's Royal Pains. He will be in the upcoming movie Slenderman with Joey King and on Season 2 of Iron Fist.
 
His selected theater credits include Proof at Central Square Theater, Chinglish at Lyric Stage and Where the Mountain meets the Moon at Wheelock. He is also a founder of Tow Arboleda Films which makes social justice films and videos usually dealing with Asian American issues. Their films and videos have been seen by millions of people world wide.

Chris Yamamato

Retd EY Partner

Chris is a retired EY partner who was based in the Washington, DC, office until she retired from the firm in June, 2015. She started her career with EY in the Assurance practice in the Los Angeles office after graduating with a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Southern California in 1977. She left the firm to attend the Harvard Business School from 1980 to 1982.  After receiving her MBA, she returned to EY in the Tax practice in the New York office, then transferred in 1986 to the DC tax practice, where she became a partner in 1993. In 1998 she became the Talent Leader for the National Tax practice. She later became the Talent Leader for Tax in the Americas, and finished her career with the firm as the Talent Leader for CBS in the Americas. Chris has a particular interest in coaching and leadership development. She is also a former president of the DC chapter of Ascend (for Pan Asian professionals).

Chris is married, has two daughters, and lives in Maryland. In retirement, she teaches at EY’s Welcome to EY for Experienced Hires program once a month, is a Zumba dance enthusiast, and also enjoys travel, cooking, and volunteer activities.

Aman Advani

Co-Founder and CEO

Aman Advani is cofounder and CEO of Ministry of Supply, a clothing company that’s creating a whole new category of apparel: performance professional. Early in his career, Aman experienced firsthand the limitations and discomfort of business apparel when traveling as a consultant, and it sparked the idea to merge the performance and comfort of athletic gear with the modern business person's professional wardrobe. While he was attending MIT’s Sloan School of Management, Aman joined forces with two fellow students who shared his vision: performance function in professional clothing, for all day comfort and flexibility.  Since then, Aman and his cofounders have grown the Ministry of Supply brand from a single dress shirt on Kickstarter to an entire product line of technologically-engineered performance professional clothing. As CEO, Aman is responsible for the strategic growth of the company and has expanded Ministry of Supply’s online presence to multiple brick-and-mortar locations across the U.S., including a location on Newbury Street.

Sifu Mai Du

Wah Lum And Kung Fu Instructor
Greater Boston Area
of the Wah Lum New England Headquarters in Boston and Grandmaster Chan Pui, founder of the Wah Lum System in the United States. Sifu Mai is one of the few female certified Wah Lum instructors and kung fu instructors in the Greater Boston Area. She has competed locally, nationally, and internationally, winning a gold medal in 1994 and silver and bronze medals in 1994 and 2001 in China.
 
A Tufts University graduate, receiving both a BA and M.Ed, Sifu Mai especially advocates for children and young people learning kung fu as a form of exercise and self-defense to positively guide their development to healthy and socially aware adolescence and adulthood. Sifu Mai is very involved in various nonprofit organizations in the Greater Boston Area including formerly served as a board president of the YWCA Malden and a U.S. delegate to the International Women’s Conference and the YWCA World Council Meeting in Kenya in 2007. She also formerly served on the board of the Asian American Civic Association. Currently, Sifu Mai is on the board of directors for South Cove Community Health Center, Greater Malden Asian American Community Coalition, and the United States Dragon and Lion Dance Federation. In addition to operating and teaching at the Wah Lum Kung Fu & Tai Chi Academy in Malden and Quincy, she is also a certified Kumon Math & Reading instructor/franchisee and teaches Kumon in Medford.

Yiqing Shao

Yiqing Shao is an account and new business manager at Stoltze Design Group, a graphic design firm with clients in higher education, arts, business, finance, and more. Previously she was the digital editor of Boston magazine, where she led a 10-person team and oversaw the strategy and execution of all editorial operations for bostonmagazine.com and other digital properties such as newsletters and social media. Yiqing is a proud alum of the Poynter Institute's Leadership Academy for Women in Digital Media. She's never made a pot of coffee and doesn't care to learn.
