ATASK Community 5K Race: Ascend Team

Who: All are welcome! Students, professionals, and family and friends

When: Saturday, May 11, 2019 @ 9:00 AM - 11 AM
What: Join the Ascend race team with your friends and family to run the walk around the beautiful Chestnut Hill Reservoir. As part of the Ascend team, you will receive 2 complimentary shirt. After the race, we will head over for brunch together. To participate:

a) Sign up for the Ascend race team.

b) Fill out this Google form by April 26th indicating your shirt size and interest in joining us for brunch.

Where: Chestnut Hill Reservoir, 355 Chestnut Hill Ave., Brighton, MA 02135
Why: By participating in this race, you will contribute to a good cause and get active at the same time. Plus, you get a free shirt and the opportunity to meet like-minded members!

Description:

We are proud to support the Asian Task Force Against Domestic Violence (ATASK) for its 5th Annual Community 5K Race. ATASK was incorporated in 1992 to address the gaps in services for Asian domestic violence survivors in the Greater Boston and Lowell areas, including low-income immigrants with limited English language capabilities. A United Way-affiliated agency, their mission is to prevent domestic violence in Asian families and communities and to provide hope to survivors. The 5K brings together nonprofit organizations serving the diverse Asian population in Greater Boston.
